108 things to do until Lost. A daily countdown to season six.

Whether it's Jack's vodka, Desmond's rum or DHARMA beer; alcohol has made its way on to the show in many forms. In this feature, we'll be giving you our own takes on the popular in-show drinks, but also concocting our own special coctails for you to try along the way, since if there's one thing that could make the hiatus go faster, it's booze.

To kick things off, we're takign a shot of MacCutcheon--the 60 year old rare scotch that seems to make it its way into most of the characters' glass at some point.

MacCutcheon Appearances

• Sawyer hordes a bottle of MacCutcheon, which Charlie gets his hands upon in 'Flashes Before Your Eyes'. Desmond, Hurley and Charlie share the bottle on the beach.
• Most notably, Widmore refuses Desmond a glass of MacCutcheon in the season three episode 'Flashes Before Your Eyes':

  This is a 60 year MacCutcheon, named after Anderson MacCutcheon, esteemed Admiral from the Royal Navy. He retired with more medals than any man before or since -- moved to the highlands to see out his remaining years. Admiral MacCutcheon was a great man, Hume. This was his crowning achievement.
  
  This swallow is worth more than you could make in a month. To share it with you would be a waste, and a disgrace to the great man who made it -- because you, Hume, will never be a great man.

• Ben pays a visit to Widmore in the night in season four's 'The Shape of Things to Come'; Widmore was again drinking the scotch.
• In season three's 'The Man From Tallahassee', Locke's father is seen pouring a glass of MacCutcheon for the two of them before he pushes John out of his apartement window.
• Sayid meets Illana over a glass of MacCutcheon at a bar in 'He's Our You' where Desmond's monthly salary is put into question, as Sayid seems to pay only $120 for the scotch.

The closest real life MacCutcheon (coming in at number one in the world's most expensive scotches) The Macallan, is worth about $75,000 (about £50,000), so we won't be getting our hands on a glass of that any time soon. But we can still tip our glasses in a similar fassion as Widmore if we're a little creative.

Here's how you can make your very own bottle of MacCutcheon 60 year old scotch. All you'll need is:

• A MacCutcheon bottle label, which we've taken care of. Download PNG.
• Some clear-label paper (we picked a pack up at Target for around $5 a pack)
• A an empty vodka bottle (Smirnoff seems to give the best appearance)
• Some scotch or other whiskey of your choosing

1. Print off the labels provided above. Around half the size of an A4 page works best.
2. Clear off the labels of your vodka bottle.
3. Carefully apply the label to your vodka bottle
4. Empty the scotch of your choosing into the MacCutcheon bottle
5. Enjoy...
