Since we're quickly approaching Halloween, we'll be taking an unplanned venture into some Halloween-related things to do. We've got a few things planned for you during the next week-or-so, as we go into the 'LOST Halloween' regular feature.
We're starting things off with the first of our Lost Halloween costume ideas. We'll walk you through, step-by-step, on how to create The Smoke Monster on a shoestring budget.
What you'll need

- 1x Pair of scissors*
- 3x Regular bin-liners (more if required)
- Some tape
Step 1.

- Using small pieces of tape, take a single bin-liner and stick two (or more) bin-liners to the 'back' of it.
- (Optional) Cut the attached bin liners at the bottom to form tassel-like ends.
Step 2.

- Place the main bin-liner over your head, covering your entire body
- Important: Ensure that you take extra care to cut breathing holes at the top of the bin-liner before placing over your head
Step 3.

- Run around the room a little to ensure that you have enough space to move, you may need to extend the bin-liner
Step 4.

- All that is left to do is practise your smoke monster noises, and then go terrorise some people!
- (Optional) For added authenticity, you may attach one or more camera flashes to the inside of your costume
- (Optional) Lighting a cigar can give those extra smokey touches, but be careful not to light the bin-liner.
